Very nice. Subject matter is clearly presented when you sucessfully grasped the unintentional capture of the moment. The exposure matches the atmosphere, the gentleman's ungurarded self, the surrounding, and the other 2 people as part of the world but had nothing to do with the man. Again, room for imagination is the key for the viewer's to create their own story while looking at your "art work". That's right. You should treat yourself as an artiest and shoot with a theme. other than the comparism of glamourous and grotesque, something is missing to push further to say what you want to say. Maybe the exposure is too perfect? The intention is too obvious? The setup is man-made instead of spontaneous? The proportion of the subject can be more prominent? What is the subject, the frame of Adrey Hepburn, or the demolished interior? I would try to avoid too many color objects appearing, such as the blue and green in the background. So, the color of the picture frame would be the only clue that this is a color photo in b/w mode.

I like this one, the randomness, moody atmosphere, dramatic angle (could be even lower), room for imagination, capture of the moment, etc. It really depends on what were you trying to say? Especially the moment when you press down the shutter, do you have something in mind how to frame it? Or, just for the heck of it, it's luck of the draw?

Pretty pics are bound to get boring eventually, by others and yourself. Street photography of people is a good subject that can be explored tirelessly. It requires all the photographical skills plus timing and human interaction. Of course, b/w is better color, for me, personally. This shot got my attention due to the subject matter's facial expression which creates ample room for viewer's imagination. That is the basic element for a "good" photo as a serious photographer.
